Etonbury Farmhouse Limited
Etonbury Farmhouse Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 08658685.
In these Terms & Conditions:-
All owners must produce a Valid Vaccination Certificate for each animal upon arrival.
Initial vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to your animals stay and booster vaccinations must have been carried out no more than 12 months prior to the end of your animals stay.
While payment must be made in full on admittance, any extra costs incurred during your animal's stay must be paid for on collection.
All animals must be up to date with flea/tick treatment (if animals are not on a regular programme, treatment must be administered at least one week prior to their stay). Animals should preferably be de-wormed as well (animals arriving with fleas or ticks will be treated as appropriate and the customer will be charged £25.00 per animal).
A condition of boarding is that your animal is in a fit and healthy condition. We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any animal that is not inoculated and does not have a valid vaccination certificate for flu and enteritis or in our judgement is unwell.
Only animals from the same household may share accommodation.
You authorise us to call or visit a veterinary surgeon on your behalf should we, at our absolute discretion, consider it necessary and you will reimburse Etonbury Cattery for any expenses incurred which are not covered by insurance. We will first contact the vet with whom the animal is registered but if the vet is outside a five mile radius of Etonbury Cattery we reserve the right to take the animal to our own vet, The Gatehouse Veterinary Surgery Baldock.
All veterinary bills incurred including stress related conditions will be the responsibility of the owner.
All animals are boarded at the sole risk of their owner and whilst every care will be taken, Etonbury Cattery shall not be liable for illness, injury or death of any animal in their care. All items such as beddings, beds, toys and scratching posts, pet carriers are left at the sole risk of the owner and Etonbury Cattery reserves the right to wash these items should they become soiled and shall take no responsibility for damage caused by cleaning products used to maintain our hygiene standards.
Please inform us if your animal has any unusual habits or behaviours, so that these are not mistaken for illness.
Animals are insured during their stay but the cover assumes that no animal has a value greater than £50. Terms of the cover are available on request.
Animals must be collected on the date of collection unless agreement has been made in advance and confirmation of new check out date given by Etonbury Cattery. On failure to collect on date of departure we will contact the Emergency Contact to arrange for immediate collection.
In the event that an owner has failed to arrange collection of their animal and/or failed to make payment of all outstanding fees due within 7 days of the date on which their animal is confirmed as booked to depart, Etonbury Cattery reserves the right in its absolute discretion to arrange for an animal to be re-homed.
We will store carrying baskets for the duration of the animals stay. It is helpful if these are clearly marked with the animal’s name. All clasps and locks should be checked by the person collecting before departure.
Although we will do all we can to help animals settle into their new environment an outcome of their stay is that they may demonstrate some temporary changes in their behaviour and demeanour and are often temporarily more vocal.
We require 14 days’ notice of cancellation. For any cancellation with less than 14 days, we reserve the right to charge the full rate payable for the booked stay. Unauthorised overstays may incur an additional charge.
Cheques that are not honoured will incur an additional charge of £20 and total payment will be required in cash.
If an animal is collected before the end of the booked period, fees are still payable for the whole booked period.
Animals will not be released until all bills are settled in full.
Etonbury Cattery reserves the right to amend and edit its terms and conditions as and when it is deemed necessary.
Etonbury Cattery uses the information collected to maintain a database of customers contact details and guest requirements in line with conditions of our Licence and in order to contact you about your booking and your animal’s stay. We will ensure that all personal information is held securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Etonbury Cattery reserves the right to use photos of your animal for promotional purposes including, but not exclusively, on our website and social media as well as for publications and stock photo sites. Copyright of the photos will remain the property of Etonbury Farmhouse Limited.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the exclusion of any other terms that the Owner seeks to impose or incorporate, or which are implied by trade, custom, practice or course of dealing.
A person who is not a party to this contract shall not have any rights to enforce its terms.
If any provision or part-provision of this contract is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this contract.
Except as set out in these Terms & Conditions, no variation of this contract, including the introduction of any additional terms and conditions, shall be effective unless it is agreed in writing and signed by Etonbury Cattery.
This contract, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
